The beauty of these side rests is their simplicity. Easily clip on and off, rotate, or slide into the desired position. A perfect way to fish a rod lower to sea level.
Excellent when fishing for Sole, Bass and other species at close range either on the beach or Estuary fishing.
Locks firmly onto the leg, strong and extremely lightweight. The small weighs only 13 grams and the large weighs just 18 grams. Feather light, rotates to keep the tripod streamlined when packing down or unclip and chuck it in the box.
Available in two sizes:
Small 16mm : Fits the Ian Golds Tripods and any 5/8” tubular pole. Will also fit onto the Igloo and Tronix shelters offering a handy extra place to rest a rod.
Large 19mm : Fits the thicker poles on some tripods such as the Leeda Icon and SeaLegs.
Sold individually, comes included with a NiteTide Tripod Sticker.
Ordered the side rest as a convient way to hold the rod whilst re baiting . It should also be spot on for fishing the rod tip lower in calmer conditions 👍

Haven't used it yet but have test fitted to my Ian golds. Nice tight fit and clean print, will make a nice edition to the rest for the bass rod.
